On 06-30-2023 11:20 hours, the Midway Fire District was dispatched to the Gym Bar & Grill, 4580 Gulf Breeze Parkway for a commercial structure fire.
Units arrived on scene and reported light smoke coming from the roof. Crews made entry through a rear door and located the fire in the kitchen. One hose line was used to extinguish the fire. The building sustained both heavy smoke and water damage.
Midway was assisted by Holley-Navarre Engine 41 and Navarre Beach Engine 49. Gulf Breeze Engine 33 provided district coverage. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire appeared to be accidental in nature. The business will be closed until further notice
