OCSO INVESTIGATING REPORTS OF LEWD MAN IN SKI MASK ROAMING IN SHALIMAR
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office received two reports within three hours of a man in a ski mask roaming in the dark in the Shalimar area.
The first call came in December 27th just before midnight from a home on 7th Avenue where a woman reported seeing a light skinned black or Hispanic male masturbating behind her residence as she was smoking on the patio.
She says the man was wearing a green ski mask and nothing else. He ran from the area but less than three hours later, around 2:32 a.m. on the 28th of December, another report came in from a woman on 4th Avenue who said a man in a ski mask, pants, and no shirt was trying to get through the gate into her patio.
She was alerted when her alarm went off.
Deputies converged on the area and began an immediate search, but no contact was made with the individual.
