Construction of a recreational playground to enhance the popular ball field is now complete at Holley Ball Park. Santa Rosa County will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. to celebrate the new addition. The park now features all-inclusive playground equipment for children ages 2 to 5, such as poured-in-place rubberized surfacing, ground-level components, a ramp system, face-to-face “expression swing” for adult and child, as well as benches, picnic tables and a 12′ by 24′ pavilion.
“What began as a request for a few swings and picnic tables, has resulted in a beautiful playground for Holley/Navarre families to enjoy,” said District 4 Commissioner Rob Williamson. “Knowing how important family is to the residents of Holley, I expect this playground to get a lot of use.”
Holley Ball Park is located at 3146 Bob Tolbert Road in Navarre.
