Hurlburt Airman death is under investigation

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. – Senior Airman Luis Navajas, 30, a member of the 505th Communications Squadron, was found dead outside the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center the morning of Jan. 28.

 

Navajas’ death is under investigation.

 

“There is no greater loss than that of a valued Airman and teammate,” said Col. Sean Choquette, commander of the 505th Command and Control Wing. “The death of Airman Navajas affected us all, and our team is now focused on taking care of his family and each other as we grieve. We ask that the privacy of Airman Navajas’ family be respected at this time.”

 

The 505th CCW is a tenant unit at Hurlburt Field, responsible for advancing, integrating and standardizing training, tactics and testing for operational-level command of air, space and cyber power in the joint and coalition environment.
