On Easter Sunday at 2:58p.m. Midway Engine 37 was dispatched to the intersection of Gulf Breeze Parkway and Nantahala Beach Road for a motor vehicle crash with injuries.
The 911 caller advised a passenger vehicle had t-boned an S.U.V. Upon the arrival of Engine 37, Captain Barberi assessed the two vehicles and determined that the driver of the blue Jeep was entrapped. He then requested Engine 35 and Battalion Chief 35 for additional man power.
The crew of Engine 37 utilized their hydraulic extrication tools to remove the driver’s side door.
Lifeguard E.M.S. transported several individuals to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola with non-life threatening injuries.
