On 7/19/18 at approximately 9:00 pm, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at 6461 Sunny Acres Court in Milton. Dispatch was advised an adult male was shot.
After SRSO arrived, a responsive and alert victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. He received his wounds after being shot with a shotgun by an unknown suspect(s) who forced their way into the residence. Detectives and Crime Scene responded to the scene to begin the investigation.
At this time, this remains an active case. Detectives are working leads and processing evidence. As more information becomes available, follow up press releases will be issued.
Anyone with information related to the suspects in this case are asked to contact the Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers program at 437-STOP. There is a reward of up to $3000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
