MARDI GRAS PARADE INFORMATION

2019 Mardi Gras Parade route
The Navarre Krewe of Jesters Mardi Gras Beach Parade is this Saturday, Feb. 23, rain or shine. The graphic above depicts the parade route . The parade starts at 1 p.m. at Indiana and Gulf Blvd., and proceeds east on Gulf Blvd., ending at the Navarre Beach Causeway.
This event attracts upwards of 35,000 people. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office FL will CLOSE THE CAUSEWAY AT 12, IF NOT SOONER once the island has reached capacity for traffic. Following the parade, BOTH LANES OF TRAFFIC WILL FLOW OFF THE ISLAND (north) until traffic reaches a manageable flow.
Please prepare your travel plans accordingly! If you are attending the parade, arrive early to find parking and plan to be on the island for several hours. Pack plenty of water and sunscreen.
Weather will be windy and in the low 70s. Rain is not expected until evening.
