At the Commissioners meeting today a motion passed without objection to open up Navarre beach and fishing pier with limited access.
Navarre beach will be open to everyone beginning May 1.There will be time restrictions from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm as when the beach will be open. The first phase will be Navarre Marine park parking and public area behind Broussard’s for parking near the pier to be open.The rest of public beach parking along Gulf Blvd will be closed during phase one. No groups larger than 10 people in one area. Separation of 6 ft will apply. Lifeguards will be on duty and Navarre beach will be patrolled by SRSO.
The pier will open May 1 only to people with fishing passes and walkers with passes during phase one.
