On Friday, 01/12/2024 at 2:41 pm, the Holley-Navarre Fire District, Midway Engine 37, Navarre Beach Engine 49 and Florosa Truck 5 were dispatched to the 2200 block of Peachwood Court for a reported residential structure fire.
The 911 caller reported she could see smoke and flames in their attic. Engine 45 and B/C 40 arrived on scene and reported there was smoke emitting from the roof line. The crew of Engine 45 advanced a line inside the residence and accessed the attic through the pull down attic ladder.
The fire was quickly knocked down, before it had a chance to burn through the roof. At the time of the fire, there were was work being done inside the home.
The fire was deemed to be accidental.
