
Today the driver of the Ram Truck that was involved in the Navarre Bridge accident was booked into SRC Jail.
Paul Dewayne Brown age 44 was charged with DUI-Unlawful blood alcohol and Moving traffic violation by the FHP. Bond was set at 1,500.00 and Mr. Brown was released from SRC Jail at 6:09 PM tonight according to jailview website.

Vehicle 1 (Ram 1500 pickup) was traveling northbound across the Navarre Bridge, several witnesses stated Vehicle 1 was traveling at a very high rate of speed.
Vehicle 2 (Dodge Challenger) was also traveling northbound across the Navarre Bridge in front of Vehicle 1.
Vehicle 3 (Ford Fusion) and Vehicle 4 (Chevy Silverado) were traveling southbound across the Navarre Bridge, Vehicle 3 was in front of Vehicle 4.
Vehicle 1 caused a rear end collision with Vehicle 2 near the top of the bridge.
After this collision, Vehicle 1 traveled northbound in the southbound lane. Vehicle 1 then caused a head on collision with Vehicle 3. After this collision, Vehicle 1 continued traveling northbound in the southbound lane.
Vehicle 1 then caused another head on collision with Vehicle 4. After this collision, Vehicle 1 overturned at the north end of the bridge.
The driver of Vehicle 1 was arrested for DUI and Reckless Driving after being released from the hospital.
