Early this morning a truck hit a power pole on 98 at Herons Nest. This disabled power in the business district in Navarre. Power was out from Wal-Mart to Winn- Dixie.
Sheriff’s were stationed at the intersections with traffic lights to keep cars moving. Power was restored around 8:30 a.m. but then back out until 10:30 a.m. Gulf Power is working to restore power.
Many stores that are located in this area are now just opening .
