Home Government Santa Rosa BOCC Commission Strategic Workshop

Santa Rosa BOCC Commission Strategic Workshop

Santa Rosa County just passed its 179th anniversary of becoming an independent county. Throughout the years Santa Rosa County has progressed from a very rural agricultural area to a thriving community for businesses and residents, and an inviting destination for visitors. With our high quality of living and abundant natural resources, people from all over the country want to make Santa Rosa County the place where they live, work and play. Hundreds of new residents choose to move here annually and build new homes to start their lives – or enjoy their retirement years.

To maintain the quality of life and service that existing residents and the newcomers have come to expect, Santa Rosa County must be structured appropriately to serve the public in the most efficient and effective manner. A strategic plan is key to ensuring the road is paved for Santa Rosa County’s future.

To begin the strategic effort and the development of the FY2022 budget, the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will hold a commission strategic workshop in the Administrative Complex, 6495 Caroline St. in Milton, on Tues., Feb. 23 at 9:00 a.m. See the interactive agenda. This meeting will be streamed live and archived online.
