DeVann Cook turned in his notice of resignation letter today to the SRC County Commissioners.
DeVann Cook has been County Administrator since 2021. A long time employee Cook has worked for the county since 1978. Below is his letter of resignation to the County Commissioners.
Dear Board Members,
Please accept this letter as my notice of resignation. With your approval, my last day as County Administrator will be May 31, 2024. My request would be to work through April 30, 2024, and use my accrued leave for the remainder of the time.
This will afford you the time to look for a replacement and allow a smooth transition for staff.
I want to thank the County for allowing me the opportunity to have such a rewarding career. I appreciate those that have supported me over the last two and one-half years.
