Selecting and Planting Trees Program
A one hour program on selecting and planting trees will be presented on Friday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. at the Gulf Breeze Public Library located at 1060 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze. Mary Derrick, Residential Horticulture Agent with UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County, and Ian Stone from the Florida Forest Service will present the program. The program is free and no registration is required.
This informational session will cover how to select suitable tree species for your particular site conditions, choosing a tree at the nursery and how to properly plant and care for your tree for optimum health.
