Santa Rosa County – Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year 2025 was announced during a surprise visit this morning.
Santa Rosa Superintendent of Schools Dr. Karen Barber, Santa Rosa School Board Members, and members of the Santa Rosa Education Foundation announced Christal Bennett as the Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year 2025.
Christal Bennett is a Music teacher at Central School and in her sixth year of teaching.
Christal Bennett is Santa Rosa’s nominee for the Florida Department of Education Teacher of the Year 2025.
The Florida Teacher of the Year will be selected in May and serve as Florida’s nominee for National Teacher of the Year to be announced in January 2025.
Christal Bennett, Teacher of the Year nominees, and all Santa Rosa educators will be honored at Santa Rosa’s Golden Apple Celebration on March 8th, 2024, at The Saenger Theatre .
