SRSO K-9 Teams compete in Pensacola

Last week, K-9 teams from the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office participated in the USPCA Region 1 K-9 Field Trials held in Pensacola.  Approximately 52 teams from all over the Southeastern region participated in this event. It’s always an incredible show, but we want to highlight our very own!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sgt. Clay Smith and his partner K-9 Dozer took 1st place in Obedience 3rd in Agility    and 6th Overall

Deputy Brandt Kessinger and his partner K-9 Rogue took 2nd in Obedience

Dep. Chrystal Bozard and her partner K-9 Vixen placed 18th Overall

Dep. Maverick Chapman and K-9 Shelby placed 4th in Agility and 19th Overall

Dep. Shaun Swindell and K-9 Ziggy placed 1st in Agility

Dep. Marshall Holbrook and K-9 Jetta, who are assigned to our School Resource Division, placed 2nd in Overall Detector Narcotics and 3rd in Cars Detector Narcotics.

Dep. Robert Lenzo and K-9 Ronin placed 5th in Cars detector Narcotics
