On 10-25-15, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service at Waffle House 8582 Navarre Parkway in Navarre, FL at approximately 6:23pm.
Information was obtained by Deputies leading them to believe an individual may have been injured or even killed in Wakulla County, Florida. This information was relayed to Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office where a welfare check was made on the individual in question. Information was relayed back to SRSO by Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office indicating the individual was found deceased. A photo of where the victim was discovered is above.
The individual who provided the information to SRSO was taken into custody as a possible suspect.
Charles Clayton Brow age 53 from Crawfordville, FL. is being held with out bond at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
This case is still under investigation.
UPDATED INFORMATION
According to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office, Charles Brow is being held for murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The victim has been identified as 41-year old Laura Wilkins as her body was found inside the home on Cajer Posey Road.
Officials said the victim was killed by a single gunshot and the weapon was recovered from the car Brow was driving.
According to the WCSO , Brow has an long criminal history. Brow was arrested earlier in 2015 for domestic violence against Laura Wilkins.
