This just in. SWAT is outside of a residence in the Midway area.
A gun shot was heard coming from inside the house.
At this time the location address is being withheld as this is a active police scene.
UPDATE; This has been going on since 10:15 this morning.
Negotiators are at the scene. Near Village Parkway off 98.
Residents near area are asked to remain inside their homes.
NEW UPDATE:
At approximately 12:30 pm, the individual who was armed on Village Parkway was taken into custody. The subject came out of the home and surrendered to Deputies without incident.
There were no injuries to anyone on scene. There were no other individuals in the home during this incident.
The individual fired several shots inside the home and was making threats towards law enforcement who were on scene.
