At approximately 4:55 pm Navarre Beach Lifeguards responded to the second sandbar in the Gulf to a possible drowning behind the Pearl Condominium located at 8499 Gulf Blvd on Navarre beach.
lifeguards swam the approximately 50 year old male to the beach where CPR was performed and delivered 1 shock with an AED.
Navarre Beach Fire Rescue Advanced life support arrived on scene and began ALS procedures. The victim was stabilized with the help of Lifeguard Ambulance and the patient had Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC)
He was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
