This morning Navarre Lifeguards began placing beach toy recycle boxes on the beach. This project is a joint effort between the lifeguards and the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office.
People who visit Navarre beach can use the recycle toys in the box , or leave theirs instead of throwing them out for other children to use and enjoy . Navarre beach Lifeguards will ensure all toys left on the beach are picked up every afternoon and returned back to the beach toy recycle boxes .
A long term plan to add additional beach toy recycle boxes down the beach and near condo dune walkovers is underway.
