Tim Wyrosdick will plunge in Pirate Plunge 2019

Superintendent of Santa Rosa County Schools Tim Wyrosdick will be taking the Pirate Plunge in the Gulf on New Year’s Day to support the Weekend Food Program in Navarre.

Tim Wyrosdick graduated Pace High School in 1980 and attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi on a football scholarship. He completed his B.A. from the University of West Florida in 1985 and began teaching at Pace Middle School in Santa Rosa County. He transferred to Pace High School where he taught and coached for 8 years. He entered school administration as an Assistant Principal at Pace High School where he served for 7 years. He served as Assistant Principal and Principal at Navarre High School until 2005 when he was appointed Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Wyrosdick was elected Superintendent of Santa Rosa County Schools in 2008 and again in 2012.

Navarre is lucky enough to have The Weekend Food Program of Navarre.They help feed over 600 children from the Navarre area and the Pirate Plunge is an important fundraiser to help them continue the great work that is helping children in Navarre.

There is a new event for this year that is the New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance at the Navarre Convention Center.
