Rob Williamson District 4 Update:

Florida Transportation Engineers, Inc. has been awarded a contract with the Florida Department of Transportation to conduct a comprehensive traffic signal retiming project on U.S. 98 from the Okaloosa County Line to the eastern boundary of the National Seashore or Bayshore Road.
Signal timings will be adjusted at (21) signals over the next two to three weeks.
As this optimization occurs, you may notice a slight change in the traffic signal timings.
Many of you have requested this improvement for years and it looks like we are finally going to get a little relief. This won’t add another lane of traffic but it should help with traffic flow and improve safety a bit as well.
This week is the Florida Association of Counties Legislative Days and so it’s back to the capital.
