TURKEY CREEK HOME HIT BY LIGHTING

Today was a busy morning for HNFD and other south Santa Rosa FDs.  Great teamwork and sound aggressive tactics by all companies. The units on scene were Engines 45,41,49,35, and 11. Truck 37, BC40, CH40, CH49, Lifeguard Med 2, and SRSO.

The family and their 15 year old daughter reside at the home that apparently caught on fire by lighting strike on Turkey Creek Rd.  It is not known at this time what can be saved due to all the water used to put out the fire. No one was home at the time of the fire.

The engine house 45 will serve as a collection site for any non perishable donations from the community. The Red Cross is helping the family with food and shelter.Their daughter wears a 8.5 shoe and wears 4-6 size clothing.
