The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged two individuals in connection with a June 9th shooting on Landview Drive that injured four people. An additional suspect is being sought on active warrants.

21-year old Sean Lee Coy of 600 Colonial Drive, Fort Walton Beach, and 17-year old Maleak Bradshaw, address unknown, were arrested last night on charges of attempted felony murder and robbery with a firearm.

(The OCSO had already identified 15-year old Mikeal Johnson Carter as one of the shooters and he is being sought on active warrants for attempted murder and armed robbery.)
As the investigation continued, a shooting victim came forward June 21st with additional information and stated she wanted “to come clean”.
She identified Sean Coy as the individual who shot her as she sat on top of the car. She says Coy was firing shots into the car along with Bradshaw and Johnson-Carter. The teen says the incident took place after an attempted gun trade between two of the shooting victims and Johnson-Carter, Coy, and Bradshaw. The car which held the victims had at least ten bullet holes in it and investigators say evidence showed one of the shooters continued to fire at the vehicle as the driver attempted to flee. 21 -year old Aaron Martinez of Niceville, 21-year old Justin Redick of Fort Walton Beach, and a 16-year old female from Fort Walton Beach, were hit by bullets but none of their injuries were life-threatening. A 17-year old female from Fort Walton Beach was grazed by a bullet, but did not seek medical attention.
