In reference to the stabbing incident in Navarre, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office has completed their investigation.
On 1/20/17, Detectives with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Division submitted their completed investigative files to the Florida State Attorney’s Office to determine culpability.
Due to the length and complexity of the investigation SRSO partnered with the SAO since the beginning of this case.
Once the State Attorney’s office reviews the case and completes their findings, additional information will be released.
Due to the facts of this case, the SAO is expecting that it will take at least several weeks for them to complete their review.
