Engine 3 responded to a vehicle vs. building at Sherwin-Williams on Beal Parkway this morning.
No occupants were found in the car or building. There was no structural damage.
An employee arrived at work and found a vehicle inside! Not an everyday occurrence. Assisted on scene by Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
FHP reported:
Sometime during the night between 3/28/23 and 3/29/23, a Toyota Rav4 traveled through the parking lot of the Sherwin Williams, located at 624 Beal Parkway, and crashed into the door on the south side of the building. The vehicle came to final rest completely inside the building.
The incident was discovered by a bicyclist passing through the parking lot during the early morning hours of 3/29/23, who then contacted law enforcement.
Upon law enforcement arrival, it was discovered the driver had fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing in an attempt to identify the driver
