BODY BELIEVED TO BE MISSING PADDLE BOARDER
LOCATED ON OKALOOSA ISLAND SHORELINE
A body believed to be a missing paddle boarder was located today on
Okaloosa Island. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office received a call
shortly before 8 a.m. from someone who spotted a body washed ashore
behind a condominium at 670 Nautilus Court.
51-year old John Andrew Frye of Fort Walton Beach disappeared while
paddleboarding in rough surf on Christmas Eve morning near The
Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.
The body has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
