  1. Recommend joint meeting with Santa Rosa County School Board regarding growth management issues.

 

  1. Recommend soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for consulting services to update the Land Acquisition Study limiting encroachment at NAS Whiting Field and outlying fields.

 

  1. Recommend scheduling public hearing on ordinance repealing Ordinance 2005-37 regarding collection of transportation impact fees.

 

  1. Recommend replacement of panic alarm system at Courthouse at total cost of $17,640 as recommended by Courts Administration and Courts Security.

 

  1. Recommend Resolution repealing Resolution 2015-43 regarding 2015 MSBU rates and removing Ponderosa Drive design and construction projects due to inadequate notice.

 

  1. Recommend Don Richards as District Five member of Zoning Board.

 

  1. Recommend placement of Little Free Library containers at Benny Russell and Floridatown parks as recommended by Pace Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

 

  1. Recommend Fun Run/Walk around Spencer Field OLF either Saturday November 14, or November 21, 2015 benefitting Benny Russell Park by Pace Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

 

  1. Recommend site access agreement with Florida Department of Environmental Protection for assessment of underground fuel storage tanks at Public Works complex.

 

  1. Recommend FY2015-2016 Florida Division of Library and Information Services State-Aid to Libraries Agreement for library operations.

 

  1. Recommend Community Off-site Clinic Agreement with Walgreen Company for annual employee flu shots at several locations at no cost to Santa Rosa County.

 

  1. Recommend annual contract with FY2015-2016 Florida Department of Health for operation of Santa Rosa County Health Department.

Engineer’s Report

 

  1. Recommend Revised Supplemental Agreement 2015-1 with Coastal Tech-GEC, Inc. in the amount of $38,027 for beach renourishment services.

 

  1. Recommend Task Order 15-02 from SCS Engineers in the amount of $17,500 for annual topographic survey to determine remaining capacity at Central Landfill.

 

  1. Recommend Certified Mosquito Contract 2015/2016 with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, not to exceed $31,540.

 

  1. Recommend bid from Atlantis Commercial Group in the amount of $2,357,037.86 for construction Central Landfill Phase IV, Cell C as low bidder meeting specifications.

 

  1. Recommend proposal from GeoSyntec in the amount of $23,500 for annual water quality sampling and analysis based on comparison shopping.

 

  1. Recommend bid from Roads, Inc. of NW FL in the amount of $1,239,331.07 for resurfacing portion of Berryhill Road (Base bid + Deductive Alternate Item #4) as low bidder meeting specifications.

 

  1. Recommend Resolution authorizing Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program Agreement in the amount of $953,681 for resurfacing portion of Berryhill Road and authorize execution of relevant documents. County portion of project cost is $285,650.07.

 

  1. Recommend reinstatement of expired Development Order 2005S-025 including revised lot grading plan for Holley Cliff Estates Phase II.

  1. Recommend Resolution amending fee schedule for building and related permits as outlined in Ordinance 2006-37 effective October 1, 2015.

 

  1. Recommend bid in the amount of $10,000 from Mike Motes, Builders, LLC for emergency housing repair project located at 4157 Woodville Road as low bidder meeting specifications, noting that aggregate project cost exceeds SHIP policy limit by $1,357.40.

 

  1. Recommend State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Annual Report and authorize execution of relevant documents.

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 193 in the amount of $6,474 for additional outdoor exercise equipment and bench to be installed at Swenson Park from District V Recreation Funds.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 194 in the amount of $27,030 for LED lighting of the Industrial Park parking lot from Electric Franchise Fee Economic Development Reserves as approved at the August 27, 2015 meeting.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 195 in the amount of $56,000 for increased utility costs at jail due to housing of Escambia County inmates.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 196 in the amount of $2,150 for water system at East Milton Horse Arena from District II Recreation Funds.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 197 in the amount of $1,450 from Santa Rosa Shores Canal MSBU Fund to pay invoice for a submerged aquatic vegetation survey.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 198 in the amount of $15,000 from reserve for contingencies for three separate IT projects regarding wireless internet and security; Tiger Point Community Center streaming; and relocation of Soil Conservation to Jay.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 199 in the amount of $115,000 recognizing grant revenues and required match for Pace/Patterson Lane HMGP Phase I drainage improvement project.

 

  1. Recommend Budget Amendment 2015 – 200 in the amount of $132,500 recognizing grant revenues and required match for Ranchettes Subdivision HMGP Phase I drainage improvement project.
