According to a FHP report a 2007 red Suzuki sedan was traviling westbound on US Highway 98 . The car driven by Karl Trugrnberger of Navarre struck a cyclist, Michael Rice of Navarre .
Michael was in the bike lane when struck according to the FHP report. This happened in front of Lewis Funeral Home at 5:15 p.m.
The cyclist was transported by ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Michael Rice was in critical condition according to FHP report.
The crash investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
