Tyjuwan Jahdeil Valdes Jenkins has had both shooting charges drooped by the State Attorneys office. According to Assistant State Attorney James Parker said it was decided from interviews that the victim who was shot in his leg caused the rifle that another person was holding to discharge when he grabbed the barrel of the gun. It has been declared an accident.
The felony drug charge will remain. Tyjuwan Jenkins has been released to his father.
