Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson announced today that Sgt.Ray Dykes passed away in his sleep last night. Sgt. Dykes was 44 years old.

It is with great sadness, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office announces the loss of our brother and dear friend, Sergeant Clifton Ray Dykes. Sergeant Dykes served with our Agency for over 15 years in several different units. He will truly be missed. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
